How the Costume Analyzer works
BazBot's Halloween lab: show your costume, and BazBot guesses what you are.
1. Strike a pose
Tap the big button and allow the camera, or tap 📤 Upload a photo to use one you already took. You'll see yourself on screen; switch to the back camera to photograph someone else. When you're ready, a 3-2-1 countdown takes the photo.
2. BazBot takes a look
BazBot, Deedz's costume-loving AI, studies the photo and announces its best guess, usually within a few seconds.
3. Save your card
You get a keepsake card with your photo and BazBot's verdict. It's made right on your phone, so saving or sharing it is up to you.
4. Enter the contest (optional)
During the Deedz Costume Contest you can enter your photo for the Grand Prize and up to three categories. See the Official Rules.
5. Halloween Studio (optional)
Tap ✨ Halloween backdrop to put your costume in front of a spooky scene: a haunted house, a moonlit graveyard, a pumpkin patch and more. It's made right on your phone; the photo isn't uploaded for it. You get two free backdrops per photo, then pick your favorite of the three (the original counts) to save, share or enter.
Halloween Studio pack ($1.99, one-time): pick any scene, as many tries as you like, no deedz.org tag on the picture, full-size photos, and print-ready 4×6 and 5×7 copies. It works in the browser on the phone you buy it on, through November 30, 2026. Payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure page; we never see your card details. If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying. Something not working? Use the contact form within 14 days and we'll make it right or refund you. The pack has nothing to do with the contest: it doesn't help anyone win.
Your photo
Just analyzing a costume keeps nothing: the photo is used for the guess and discarded. BazBot only talks about costumes and keeps things family-friendly. The details are in Rules & privacy.
